On June 12, at the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs moderated by Narek Zeynalyan the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Social Security Disability in the RA authored by the NA Bright Armenia Faction was debated in the first reading.

The NA deputy Srbuhi Grigoryan presented the main amendments to the law.

The RA Deputy Minister of the Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arevik Anapiosyan has expressed the viewpoint of the Government, noting that the government proposes to address the problems according to insecurity of the family and solve the issues with purposeful programmes.

The Committee member Hrachya Hakobyan has opined that the draft law has a goal to boost the development of the education. He proposed his colleagues to endorse the draft law and present recommendations from the first to the second reading.

The draft law on Making Addendum to the Labor Code authored by the NA deputy Gevorg Papoyan was also debated in the first reading.

The deputy Arman Boshyan made proposals on the draft law. The MPs by voting passed the proposal.

The RA deputy Minister of Economy Avag Avanesyan has noted that the executive body proposes a version of the system investment phase by phase.

The Committee member Lusine Badalyan, touching upon the risks of the draft law and expressing her concerns considered the idea welcoming. The MP proposed to endorse the initiative. The debated initiatives were endorsed by the Committee.

The draft law on Amending the RA Law on State Property Privatization Programme for 2017-2020 was debated in the second reading and received the endorsement.
